Digital Operator

The Role

  • You’ll direct and ensure the efficient running of all model shoots. 
  • You’ll co-ordinate all model timings on our set, ensuring the fullest and most effective use of our working hours.
  • You’ll be responsible for making sure that models and crew are ready and on set at their assigned start times at the beginning of the day as well as after breaks throughout the day.
  • You’ll ensure that the Studio team understands daily targets and that everyone works efficiently to reach or even exceed these targets and KPIs on a daily basis.
  • You’ll direct models as well as photographers and stylists if necessary, to get the very best shots for every product consistently.
  • You’ll be responsible for all image selection on the model set, which means an excellent creative eye and meticulous attention to detail are essential. You must be able to creatively evaluate composition, model pose, styling, product visibility and so on.
  • You’ll manage the atmosphere in the studio, remaining calm and positive in a pressure-filled, fast-paced environment.

  • You’re meticulous in your understanding of the shoot planner, keeping track of information such as daily shoot and product volumes, which models are shooting for which brands and how time needs to be managed in order to achieve daily targets.
  • You’re a skilled troubleshooter and decision maker with a strong understanding of priorities and how to solve adhoc problems as they arise.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are highly organised.
  • You work to get the best out of our models and staff on the apparel set so that our images are produced to a very high quality and delivered on time.
  • You understand the production workflow thoroughly and recognise the impact that not carrying out tasks have on the department and the overall business.
